A week spent working on the car :)
Thought id put a few pics up of the car after spending a good few hours every day on it
.
Started on Monday fitting Meister R coilovers. Was a simple job apart from not realising the nut on the lower of the strut was welded to it. Spent atleast 30 mins tugging away and making my neighbours ears bleed. The penny finally dropped tho
. Set the car up so its 1 inch lower than stock. Did a bit of playing around and works out setting these 20mm shorter than the OEM gives the same ride height, so i set the new ones at 45mm shorter than OEM for 1 inch.
Rest of the week i set about trying to cover up all the stone chips on bumper, wings and bonnet. Gave it a good polish and wax after that even under the bonnet.
First ride in it yesterday proved the Meister Rs were a good choice. Ride is firmer, no nose diving or lifting up on acceleration. Stable in corners but the most impressive thing is it acctually more comfortable. The damping really works well on potholes and other crap thats our UK roads.
Enough gassing heres some pics.
