Default Weekend Drive

My mate got himself a Boxster S last year and I took him out for a drive last October. He's been asking me to show him some more good driving roads so I cobbled a route together and it turned out to be a bit of a classic.

We were out driving for nearly 11 hours today, only stopping for loo breaks and a quick sandwich, and covering some 330 miles door to door.

Main route

Shap Summit

Alston

Killhope Summit - 627m

B6295

Allenheads

Stanhope

Hamsterley Common

Grassholme Reservoir

nice pics. Looks like a good day out.
