Post Weighed the S2000

Thought I would post this purely for information purposes.

I had the opportunity to see how heavy the car was the other day.

It is currently 1220kg with half a tank of fuel.

I'm guessing a MY04 would be around 1270kg as standard?

Not a bad saving I guess.

Anyone else weighed theirs?

Cheers
Rick

I would look at your mods but your sig is too small .

I've always worked mine out being roughtly 1235KG with a full tank fuel, but thats changed now.

Heavier than I thought but not bad for the power increase I guess!

How heavy is a Rotrex for comparison?

Mine was 1351kg including 80kg of driver, so 1280kg, that includes all the ICE, the reduced weight of the JDM BBS alloys and whatever the difference the Gaz coilovers made.

I didn't think it would be that much!

I'm going to weigh mine at work when I get chance (weigh bridge).

This is kind of connected. Am I right in thinking the ASM Tsukuba car weighs 980kg ? Is this the lightest S that anyone knows of ?

No idea JD, wish I weighted it though.

I don't think it will be far off, aftercooler, radiator, mounts and blower
