Default Weird tech issue

This has been bugging me for a while. One of my rear wheels appears to protrude further than the other. Using very crude measuring methods, i'd say about 4-5mm.

I had put it down to the effect of a bit of camber (WiM fast road set up, not stanced nonsense) and one side sitting a little lower than the other, but I've corrected that now on the coil over adjustment and the difference is still there.

The geo has been done several times since I first noticed it, but everything is fine suspension and geometry wise and there's no sign of crash damage (I've had the car since 2008 when it had only done 13k, so it's not like it could have too much of a shady past) and it drives perfectly.

I only really noticed the difference between the two sides a while after I had spacers fitted, but presumably, everything must be back together properly as something would have been flagged up during geo sessions or services, or a hub and wheel would have fallen off.

Anyone got any idea what it might be? Can subframes be out of alignment?

Cheers,
FB

Have you checked to see if the tires are the same size?

Or maybe one tire is inflated less than the other could be a possibility?

No cars are symmetrical <even Honda > and have a +/- tolerance corner to corner

Everything is spot on, Lee (and do you think I would have chosen this handle is I couldn't take a bit of ribbing)???

Noodles, appreciate there's a manufacturing tolerance and I'm happy if that's all it is. Was just curious to know if it could be anything out of alignment........
