Default Welding Titanium

I think the centre resonator has been damaged in some way as it is making noises it shouldn't be and rattling a lot.

Not sure if it is same as this:

Going to try and get a look at it tomorrow.

Does anyone know anywhere that can weld titanium? Anyone with experience?

I understand it is very tricky to do.

Best buy another I'm in the same boat with my Mugen SS exhaust. I jarred it showing off on rough ground that was rock hard. Sheesh.

Bad luck with the exhaust Budgie, hope someone comes up with a suggestion soon as there's a lot of posh exhausts on the forum

The thing is, I don't recall bashing the exhaust on anything. It started making the noises on the way back from Blurtermeet, and have got progressively worse to the level they are now, but are not worsening further.

The only other people I can find who have had this problem are people with FI, where they have blown out the middle resonator. Sideways (pushing >400 rwbhp) got his fixed by buying another old second hand one and using the piping, but has been very cryptic in his advice to me.

My understanding is that it can be welded, but only with some gasses or in a vacuum or something.

Si, can you let me have details of your mate? Perhaps he could take a look for me and advise? (btw, i cannot find that radio door )

Ti can be welded Ian, its just who by.

I just had my exhaust welded, and he didn't want to touch the Ti tailpipes.

is the rattle at all rpm's and you can still hear it above the engine noise when driving??

my car makes a bit of a rattle..but only at idle once it is warm.. it's a 2nd hand mugen.. so wondering if that is coming to it's end.. maybe it's just I can't hear the rattle because of the engine when driving.

however when I get out of the car you can't really hear it
