Default Well, My front calipers seized

Only got the car a few weeks back, just got the new HKS system fitted, went out for a play, got about 15 miles from home and the car felt really sluggish, pull over and smoke from the O/S/F wheel

Took it to the workshop and ripped it apart at 11 last night to find i have one caliper seized solid and one on the way,

Managed to get it freed up just to use over the weekend and got 2 reconditioned exchange calipers coming on tuesday from sutton auto factors, were cheaper than i was expecting.

Could of been worse but not what i wanted, Just hope its not warped the disc, it feels fine so i think i got away with it

That is all

thats one saving grace i suppose, im a mechanic and have my own workshop so could diagnose the problem in the middle of the night and get the stuff ordered this morning,

Was expecting it to be a more costly issue than its ended up being TBH

While i have a thread open, is it worth fitting braided hoses when i have the fluid out anyway ?

cheers

General concensus seemed to be no as this came up recently.
I find the pedal VERY firm and has great feel. Yours doesn't?

yeah, i do mega business with sutton so get a large discount, i have had to pay quite a chunk less than half what one rear will be,

I will ask what the retail will be on those and let you lot know cause im aware im not the first to have this problem

If anyone local to me (nottingham) ever wants any help dont hesitate to give me a shout, i can always pass on the saving, but cant take the mick with them as im sure you understand
