Apart from the bird sh1t on me, I have never had on on the S! The beater, which I park next to, always has a sh1t on it!

Must be Honda fans as my Civic never got sh4t on either, but the MR2 does

I like the fact that they are easy to work on (trust me, compared to Renault/Citroen where everything is 5 sided or metric only crap), go well, make a nice noise, and don't have a Porsche/BMW badge

I don't like the lack of fixings lubrication - bit sad really for a car of this type IMHO.

My fave bit about my two S's was the front wings.

This evening, my favorite thing about the S... in the countryside on the A338 going past shalbourn, with the sun setting, roof down, Addrenalin rush, glorious noise, hitting vtec in 3rd through a sweeping bend. Heaven.

Engine note. Roof down. Rareness. Fast roof. Digital readout. Solidity. Reliability. Cheap rare plates.

I like how you feel at 'one' with the car (as in totally connected with it) when driving.

I like the way the clutch rumbles and whines and the transmission that sounds like a '39 Massey Ferguson.

I think that sums up what I miss about the S.

A338 Hungerford to Burbage, my long way home

It's a great bit of road. I don't normally go out that way as I live n work in Newbury, but I keep going on random drives when the weathers nice.

I love the styling of the car, it's purposeful looking front end and those flared raised lines running from the bottom of the roof over the top of the rear quarters towards the back.

I love it's handling in the dry, the snappie gearbox and no the frills cabin.

Yes it has flaw (which car doesn't), but I find the best way to reignite my love for the car is to drive something else modern just so I remember how much better I have it than most people in their euro/jap boxes.

Debeneezer - I'm amazed you even found the S2000 owners part of the forum.................oh wait you didn't. A mod had to move the thread for you

Mine drives fine in the wet too.

It's the car I always wanted; it just took a while before someone built it.

OK, I had to improve a few areas, but now it's pretty damned good.
