Default What brake discs to use?

Hi guys, I've noticed my brake discs are really corroded so I'm looking for a new set front and rear.
Any specific brands recommended or should I go for the OEM blanks again? There's a few cheap S2000 specific sets for sale on Ebay (Delphi, Apec...) but I have no clue if they're any good.

I usually buy Stoptech but unfortunately there's no blanks available for S2000, and since I live in Belgium they can make me take them off every year if I don't have the proper documentation (which isn't available from Stoptech) for yearly inspection.
So basically I can use any blank rotor, but everything slotted/drilled is a no go thanks to our stupid laws...

What blanks (and pads maybe) do you guys use? And what does a set of OEM blanks + pads cost from the dealership?

If you've got the dosh and don't mind paying them OEM if not any of the above you mentioned,

typical OEM price is about £60/70 per rear disc and about £50 for the rear pads, but if you shop around and use club discounts then the price will decrease,

typical aftermarket prices can be a 1/4 to half of OEM, blue print ones are about £30 per disc and pads about £18 and some Honda dealers offer these as an alternative, can't give you links as i ain't got a clue on this new site,

Ask Si at Hendy for OEM prices: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/uk-irela...thread-852693/

Or, for a rough idea try here: OEM prices Brake Pads & Discs : Buy Genuine Honda Parts, Honda Car Parts & Honda Spare Parts Online

Rears are £100 a pair, Fronts about £120 a pair.

For non-OEM try brakeparts.co.uk

Maybe best To add pads for better bedding in process of component discs for uniform wear =better stopping power quicker..

I did my front discs and pads recently and after similar deliberation i finally went for Blue Print from Mr Auto. I'm happy with the results and the cost was £53 delivered. I did have to reuse a couple of the shims though because the ones supplied with the pads were the wrong pattern and Blue Print ignored my email asking for clarification. No such problems with Mr. Auto who replied very promptly to my initial query.

Delphi and ADL both get a thumbsup from me.

Dealt very well with B road blasts, Anglesey track day and lots of 426bhp stops. Discs have turned blue from heat, no distortion or adhesion.

Great, thanks for the replies! I'm thinking of just buying Stoptech pads and cheap rotors like the Delphi or Blueprint ones.
Seems like rotors don't really make much difference, whether they're cheap or expensive...

The main differences are longevity, cooling and resistance to warping. The latter two won't usually be an issue on the road with any discs. My DBA4000 front discs have had track days with abrasive pads and tens of thousands of miles and are only half worn. But they're much more expensive . You pays your money . . . .

For the price delphis can be picked up for vs DBA, stoptechs, etc they're more than ample for a spirited driven road car.

Mine have 15k miles on with DS2500s ( which I've replaced twice I may add ) and the discs are absolutely fine.

Vote here for OEM - I got ~50,000 miles (~80,000 Km in Vlaams) out of mine and they were merely worn, not warped. And I'm not known as a gentle driver.

I'd probably drop in some harder pads, if I ever get back to doing track days.
