Default What to do with an old Cat

Got an OEM Cat with a slight rattle, it's off the car and I have a HFC on its way to me. Could I recycle it for a decent price? Anyone suggest anywhere local to me in cadnam, southampton?

Cheers

We used to a company in the unit net to us that bought cats, did a roaring trade so I imagine there is good money in them?

Just had another look at the cat and the inside of the cat looks perfect, the casing has two bolts missing so I think the slight rattling is only coming from the loose casing..

So not sure if it's worth selling as a fully functioning OEM cat or just scrap it....

They're only worth about £30 so unless you can find someone local, the postage and hassle isn't worth it.

If the insides are solid I would have thought someone would find a use for it - most people do away with the shield once they start rattling anyway, don't they?

If it's only worth that I'll just keep it for a spare unless someone wants to buy it.

EMR Swindon gave me 35 for the s2k cat and 40 something for the misses fiesta (07) cat...go figure.

Sadly, Ian, we are just not pedigree enough.
