A colleague at work has asked me what this part is called and is there any way I could find a used one for him. He said it's the reason why his drivers side headlight doesn't work so I'm guessing it's Zenon gubbins

 

Pretty sure its the ballast unit tha provides the power, someone will be along shortly to confirm
