What'syours called?
It's not a name as such, but I do refer to mine as 'the X-wing'...
..as it goes like a starfighter, is an X-reg and has that double wishbone thingie (yep, I'm a real mechanic.....wouldn't know a cam shaft from a mine shaft)
anyway....I suppose because it's got red leather it could also be 'Red 5'....
ahem.
sorry.
- I'm a child of the 70's/80's - the decade that style forgot.
I'll just get my coat, shall I?

<Ahem, puts on deep blokey voice>
Not really got a name either.
(But I have called her Eleanor a few times - anyone who watched The Fast & The Furious will know that Eleanor was the car that Nicholas Cage's character always got so close to but something always went wrong).
Very similar to my 3 years of attempts to get an S2000 (apart from the fact that I was trying to buy one rather than pinch it !!)
And, like Nicholas' character, I got her in the end !

I was thinking more along the lines of "Herbie" because it seems to have a mind of it's own, or the alarm does. I know the car locks it self within 30 secs if you unlock it and then don't open a door but mine locks even if you have opened it at anything from 5 to 25 mins. It did it twice last night while I was washing it
The first time the alarm went off
Wooly

Im so glad someone started this thread.
My S2000 was nicknamed 'Yoshi' by Kai, a friend of mine who has a peculiar habit of naming cars (he is absolutley car mad!), and it has stuck ever since.
Anyway, "why Yoshi?" I asked him (the name comes from a Mario Brothers Character for those that dont know). Because 'he' is japanese and because 'he' is a little monster!
Any of you attending the super meet can say hello to Kai because he will be co-piloting Yoshi with me for the day.

While talking about the Fast & the Furious, I did laugh when the modded Jetta took on the very modded S2000 and appeared to get a far better drag off the line. All things being equal, wouldn't the RWD thrash the pants off the FWD in real life?
