Are these the ones you mean?

How did you fit them? Are they the same diameter as the originals?

Great thread...

My OEM wheels are anthracite, trying to find anthracite (or similar match) centre caps is a nightmare.

My car...

One day I came across these CRV caps, if they fit then I've hit jackpot...2 issues though...

1) I can't find a part number.
2) I have no idea if they'll fit an s2000.

just had my wheels refurbished.

the caps were pretty rough and had some large chunks missing along with loads of corrosion

Attachment 184800

I sanded them down and used ptex to fill the gaps, then resanded them and primer coated

then sprayed with honda silver from halfords. its not as metallic as i would have liked but matches the finish of the wheel close enough.

did a few layers of lacquer then used these

black honda stickers from ebay
just put in the notes you want black for 70mm caps.

i did three layers of lacquer over them. just used the standard stuff halfords had in.

pretty happy with them.

just got a roll of tape from TLC (enough for a million centre caps!), logos from Stickerdude on eBay, just waiting to go into town to get some lacquer. I decided on the tape option so I could strip off the Honda milk bottle tops and won't have to do much prep.

Here

they are 68mm, so a few mm off for an S2000, should fit with some fettling though.
tbh for £6.50 a pop, buy one to try it out.

Same ebay shop has a chrome one

Yeah I spotted those.

I can't imagine it would be too easy to shave 3mm off one?

If you re-read my post I said how I fit them. They are slightly smaller but fit flush. Vacuum hose on the clips makes them fit snug and flush.

I am very tempted to get a set of these, really like the red badge. Cheap as well.
