Default Wheel Cleaning

I've been looking for a product that cleans alloys properly. I've tried Autoglym and Turtle Wax previously and the Turtle Wax came out on top.

Talking to the guy in the local auto shop, he recommended Wonder Wheels. Catchy name I thought but probably that is all it is. Anyway I gave it a go and here are the results:

I use wonder wheels every wash. Its a really good product IMO and the results are always pleasing.

I don't know how good it is in the long term, being that it's pretty strong acid. Still, Honda wheels are likely to corrode within 12 months anyway, so probably not worth worrying about I used to use it on my Golf 16v's BBS wheels to get into all the spokes.

label warns not to use them when the laquer is damaged , i used it on my merc estate , the wheels hadnt been cleaned for years and the results were pretty amazing, however i recon its changed the surface appearance, somehow dulling it not sure i can explain properly it took a few days for me to realise.

Good result that looks like - trick is just not to leave it on too long so it can't do damage.

On then off quickly worked great. I don't intend to use it too often now that they are clean

I also use Wonder Wheels for the really hard 'stuck-on' brake dust. Works brilliantly. I wash the wheels with soapy water after and then polish them to protect.

If you use it lot ,get yourself to Costco you get 5ltrs for about a tenner
