Default Wheel Locking Nuts

Today I fitted my newly refurbed OEM 17s. Im changing from heavy, wrong offset 18's so should make quite a difference.

Anyway, I ordered (at great expense) from Honda, 16 standard wheel nuts and a set of 4 locking wheel nuts. The problem is, the locking wheel nuts look 'orrible. They stick out from the wheel by way too much and just look ugly so they will be going back.

I have now fitted the locking nuts from my previous wheels which are far more discreet and sit much closer to the wheel.

But it occurs to me, in all the pictures I have seen of S's with OEM 17's, I have never noticed any that had locking nuts on them. Do you all have wheels without them fitted or am I missing something and being really stupid?

Im waiting on centre caps to arrive at my local stealers so ill post some pics when I get them.

I liked the black nuts on the GT100, no lock nuts fitted there though, do people still nick alloys? most cars come with them now so they're not really the hassle.?
