Wheel Stud Broken
Right, one of my wheel stud was fxcked when the garage was trying to take out a siezed locking wheel nuts, now it's more fxcked and we cant put the oem nuts back on...
One solution is obviously change the stud but that would require taking out everything and at least 3 hours of labour which isnt cheap...
Can anyone suggust a cheaper solution??? Also What's the size of stud and nuts and what's the base of the nut, like ACORN, TAPER or Flat??
My friend suggusted that maybe i can just cut off the bad parts of the stud and use an open lugged nuts and open torque it a little bit, will that work???
Cheers,
Allen

The studs hold the wheels on. Driving with 3 wheels isn't fun.
Just bite the bullet, do it properly and replace the stud. The garage may discount the the labour if you ask nicely.
I really wouldn't mess about with stud extensions or anything similar.
