Default Wheel wax

My OEM '04 17" alloys are being chrome powder coated at the moment and I want to try and give them the best start possible.

Wondered if anyone has any good recommendations for a quality alloy wheel wax/protector?

The gtechniq stuff seems to get the best reviews for longevity, although I've not used it myself.

Out of interest, what finish are you getting is it a black/smoked chrome?

I use PoorBoy's Wheel Sealant. Excellent wax that really lasts. Dirt just falls off when you wash your wheels.
