Anyone tried vinyl wrapping their wheels? Thinking about having a go as a trial before getting mine powder coated. Had my heart set on doing my bbs jdm alloys in white for ages, but then saw a red punto with white wheels today and it made me think twice. Pretty sure it would be a quarter of the cost, could run it for a few weeks, see how I feel (and how pissed I get off cleaning them all the time) then peel it off after. I can be a bit impatient though!

Yup, found a bloke last night who'd done his in jelly been sticky back plastic, it hurt my eyes

I only want to do it to make sure I'm not wasting a lot of time and money getting them powder coated really. run them for a couple of weeks and make sure it looks how I imagine.

I think I will, I pass a vinyl place on my way home from work so thinking I'll pop in next week, see what they have to offer.

Knowing me I'll do one wheel a month.

 

If you do that you can get each one in a different colour and see what you like.
