Default While I'm on a roll!

Seems a good addition would be a wind deflector, having noticed a fair difference with and without.
What's the best aftermarket option? I found one on Muz Accessories but they're in Oz. They state that the screen fits existing mounts. Do the mounts exist on pre-standard fit cars?
Again, please forgive my numptiness but I don't have the car to investigate for myself.
Thanks. Jon

Muz ships lots to us in the UK

another option is Rick's www.ricks2k.com

That is for a higher screen, if you have the stock screen as it is.

I'm not sure what you mean about "mounts" If you mean the 2 holes drilled into the top of the secret compartment lid, then yes the Muz one fits those. But in pre 2002 you dont have mounts, as you dont have a screen. But a simple drilling procedure would do the trick

If you're unsure - you could always PM Muz

has anyone fitted the screen from Ricks2k.com? Does it make that much difference from the standard one on MY04? is it worth the extra cash?

Looks the business and does stop some of the buffetting, but it won't make a huge difference if you're tall - most of the wind seems to come around the door side IMO.

The one from Ricks fits into an existing Honda mount, IIRC the Muz one just screws into the hole in the secret comparment lid. ( I think that's what the guy who started this was on about Ian).

If you don't have an aeroscreen at all and want to get your hands on one, then you can get them from a breaker for about

OK I've been here a few times!
Muz is clear perspex and L shaped, it screws to the secret compartment through the holes for the OEM one.
Ricks need the OEM one reconstructing to replace the low OEM screen with a higher one! Problem is you need the OEM one as a donor for Ricks. ~

That's my issue. I also will need the OEM mount for the screen, unless I bodge a mount by drilling the compartment lid.
I guess I could get a mount from a breakers then fit a Rick's 7/8 (seems the best option)

I fitted a full height on an 02, I'm not tall and it does make a slight difference, but is it imaginary? Dunno. The birds hair doesnt fly as round as much anyway
