White marks on plastic

Default White marks on plastic

I have some white marks on the black plastic where the wipers are, anyone know how to get this off? I think its tar remover used by a valeter ages ago. cheers

AutoGlym bumper care, it will also darken and protect the plastic.

Try rubbing it with a cloth & spittle. It seems to dissolve most of these products very effectively.

It's probably dried polish residue.

This is gonna sound wierd, but...

...try Peanut Butter (the smooth variety) - it contains oils which will disolve the residue.
