Default Why oh why

Popped into my Honda dealership to get a second fob programmed. Sales guy absolutely loves the S and he had one as company car when they were in production. He couldn't understand why Honda no longer make a sports car as Mazda has cornered the roadster market. He was annoyed to say the least.

I ask myself this all the time. In some ways I don't mind. I like knowing there isn't a better version coming out anytime soon to make mine feel obsolete

Honda haven't made anything remotely exciting in a long time

the market for exciting cars, s2k, nsx, type-r's etc is getting smaller and smaller hybrids and cheap little diesels are going to rule the way for the remainder of my lifetime i reckon.

Thanks for that depressing comment Jamie! All the more reason to keep the fun cars alive!

Well when i was in my local honda dealer the other week, the owner who im quite friendly with said he's put a deposit down already for his own nsx, possibly due in 2015, but not confirmed dates....obviously. I said hes gonna have to take me out in that, to which he replied, i may have to take him out in it....
But next year the civic type R is back with a 1.6 turbo engine, which i think could be quite exciting, after seeing what they can do NA.
And they're back in f1 next season, which os also using 1.6 turbo engines.......im not saying they'll be tue same

New Type-R in 2015, NSX planned for 2015, S2000 or something similar rumoured to be in design, and coming back to F1. I think Honda will be exciting again one day, it's all just a couple of years away still! Honda have said "we're bringing back the NSX and Type-R, why not something like a S2?" (Not necessarily those exact words, but something along those lines!)
