Default will it damage the engine?

It's me again. My S2000 is my weekend car. But I will take a drive every 2 or 3 days. It take about 20-30min normally. It take the engine and gearbox warm-up below 3000-4000rpm) about first 5 min when the temp indicator up to middle. And i will start to rev up the engine from 6000-8000rpm. (sometime I rev up to 9000 rpm at the traffic light). If I drive it like that, will the engine damage easily?

And sometime i smell some smell when i open the garage (and suppose to park in) after i rev up the engine.(but I always leave the engine low rev 2-3 min from the main way to my home). Is it normally? I remember i got the same smell for my previous turbo car if I rev up!!

Will your guy's S got a same smell??

And ANOTHE question: i did try to rev up the engine over 9000rpm few times long time ago, I see there are warning light on the cockpit(and the rev limiter is start running). Will it damage the engine??

Thank you for your opinon.

thats what a rev limiter is there for, to stop you damaging the engine, and the S is made to be taken up to 9k, so no i doubt it will hurt the engine as long as its fully warmed up and ready to go

Does the S2k have a rev limiter??
If so, when does it kick in??

Have got it well into the red, but so far managed to change gear before anything mechanical has curtailed the ambitions of my over-excited and hence rather heavy right foot...

Try revving the bollocks of it when the engine is cold, it stops you around 6,000 revs I think.
