a V speed rating is only up to 149. You should always have a speed rating of greater than what the car is capable of. So you should be using W rated tyres.

Thanks for the advice, I'm going to get some new tyres asap, but can someone just confirm that if I go for Toyos I should get
Front 205/55/ R16
Rear 245/45/ R16
I have read the FAQ, but just want to make sure that I don't replace rubbish tyres with the wrong tyres...

Sounds about right for the tyres. Give Bracknell Tyre and Battery a call.
Mine was very twitchy generally, and it's now solid after a trip to CG.

Thanks Bibbs for the confirmation, I just got off phone to Bracknell tyres... gonna have toyos fitted first thing tomorrow ... if its still twitchy then I might take u up on the offer of having a look... I'm Woodley way...
I got my toyos and took Robs advice on pressures (thanks Rob!!) and the S is handling much better although still gonna take it to the gravity center place that gets raved about.. Thanks everyone for the advice...

It also helps when the person asking the questions doesn't use txt speak, and has clearly done some research into their problem beforehand
