Drac, Cedric might be able to assist - I seem to remember him saying that his son had built a prototype deflector, but hadn't made any more as it was just too much faff with the material which he was using.

He might still have a template though......

I bagged a standard Honda one from the Honda Type R forum over the weekend (thanks to Cedirc for spotting it and posting here);

just gonna initially take some measurements and draw ideas on paper then will cut out the ideas that looks best and see what happens. Of course will take pics & instructions once done.
When you buy one of Rick's deflectors, you have to take the stock item apart and replace the 'screen' with the larger piece (which is the one Rick's sells you). To cut a long story short, for a tenner including postage, I will send you my unused OEM screen from the deflector which you can either use directly or as a template. Send me a pm if you're interested.

BTW you should make the screen out of Lexan or similar polycarbonate, since perspex is brittle and will break very easily, whereas Lexan is virtually unbreakable.

Hi all.

Have designed & cut to shape (on cardboard so far) a deflector. Anyone got any ideas where to get some polycarbonate stuff (lexan, macrolon etc.)? pref a (plastics?) glass place that cuts to size etc as I'd rather not buy the stuff and not have suitable cutting equipment.

Man's best - thanks for the offer. if it all goes wrong I may take you up although I'm after a taller version as I'm tall & have heard that the honda one doesn't make much difference to taller drivers.
