Has anyone (in the UK) seen or bought the mod for these wind deflector lights. They can be switched between colours and also come on when you brake.
Check out the rather comprehensive detail on this. Does anyone know of anyone who's already done it?

I'm sure someone has posted about these previously, and the conclusion reached was that they were probably going to be illegal in the UK as a result of the regs about showing rear-facing lights.

Sorry I can't remember more of the detail. The thread is out there somewhere, but knowing how unreliable the search engine is I don't much fancy your chances of finding it!

Check the threads on the main forum, they are US based. I seem to recall they don't offer the logo now.

I looked into this when the thread first appeared. Definitely illegal. The Vehicle Lighting Regulations specifically provide that no light of any colour other than white shall be visible from the front, and red from the rear, unless you are a doctor, police or breakdown vehicle etc.

The problem is that as the screen is transparent (you do need to be able to see through it!) whatever colour light is used it can be seen from both front and rear. Pity!

Yes, but the LED cameras haven't been installed yet, so there is no way the offending drivers will ever be caught.....
