Default Winter Storage

Due to my Insurer playing silly buggers and not offering Fire & theft cover if my S2000 isnt garaged i've got the prospect of taking my S off the road for the winter with no Insurance. Not a major problem as I have a decent out of the way place to hide it. However, obviously for peace of mind i'd like to make its secure so has anyone got any some simple ideas of what to easily remove to make it immobile apart from the battery and wheels of course.
Thanks

Gear knob and pedals.

Doesn't make it immobile of course, but a hell of a pain in the arse to drive

Plugs and a battery plus a bit of something down the bores as it is going to be stood for so long

For long term storage its best to remove the fuel. If you remove the battery you will lose the alarms, best to leave it on trickle charge and invest in some really secure door bolts/locks.

Remove a fuse from the interior fusebox:-
#12 Fuelpump or
#11 Startswitch or
#10 Ignition coil or
all three!

But don't forget when you try and start it after the winter
Put the fuse in a plastic bag and attach to your ignition keys

A problem that I found with leaving a car unused over the winter is mold forming on the leather seats.

I used a bit of lateral thinking and went to Boots and bought some clear non-oily spray for athletes foot. Cleared up the problem quite nicely
