Afternoon guys,

Just pulling the interior apart to fit my amp and sub from my old car. Now all I need to know is, where is the best/easiest place to put the main power feed through the bulk-head?

just in the footwell on the pax side.

 

Right up the end of the passenger side, there is a rubber grommet you can stick them through with a coat hanger

 

just don't expect to escape with all the skin on your fingers

Theres also a gromet on the drivers side, look above the accelerator pedal - i've got a switch wire fed into the engine from there.

 

disconnect the battery before poking coat hanger wires through any part of the bulkhead though

Easiest if you remove it - much easier access.

 

is this for an amp, or additional wiring inside the cabin?
could take it direct off fuse box if it's not a huge amount of power

 

Yep yep, I will be taking the battery off. IF it stops raining. The amp is 1KW and the cable is 4 gauge, so only off the battery will do to be honest. Plus the inline fuse can be secured under the bonnet somewhere too. Damn and blast this british weather!! The only time I can get off work and it rains!!!

 

don't forget to put a downfacing loop in the cable just before you go through the bulkhead - stops water from draining in around the cable.
