Default Wiring component speaker tweeters,

Is it the plain wire or the one with the stripe (the instructions show which is + & - on the crossovers but which wire coming out of the tweeters is which)?

Thanks!

it doesnt really matter which is which. it will just put the phase out.
aslong as you have the other speakers wired up the same, then it will be fine.

I always use the striped wire as the + but as veehexx says, as long as you are consistent with your approach, it should not be a problem.

In general there is no standard for whether the striped wire is positive or negative, and I have no idea what Honda uses. Doesn't the speaker have a + or - symbol so you can check?

No + or - markings - as the consensus is that the + wire is the one that is marked I'll go with that I think.

If anything I'd say that the striped wire is more frequently the -ve.
