Looks like most folks put their roof up. What a shame it's come to that. I shoudl be able to leave it down and not have to worry about some scally leaving their litter in it, or something much worse.

RedUn - I had a bird poo hit my passenger seat once, when I was giving it some round some country lanes. Had anyone been sat there, they woudl have gotten a face full of guano

Bassoctopus - I better look into that, as I'd never thought of that. Cheers.

I just went for a blast to cheer myself up.

Was he not the bloke who was stupid enough to drive into a f**king safari park in a convertible with the roof down? Or was that another forum?

I'm sure i read on one of the forums some while back that a guy left his roadster with the top down and when he came back he found the remains of a takeaway curry all over the seats.

Check your insurance, I bet your car isn't insured for theft of the car, or anything inside the car, when left with the roof down. This has been the case on my last 3 policies and applies even if the car is locked up in my garage.

I would occaisonally leave mine roof down in the garage before I checked my policy.

Well I must be lucky, as I leave mine down all the time, and go shopping, never had a problem touch wood

A little sh*t threw an egg in my car at traffic lights in Hamilton a few months ago. I had the top down.

As for odd things in cars I remember someone posting a squirrel fell into their car via an open sunroof and the n said "missus went mad so did squirrel" or words to that effect.

It made me as I imagined it
