Default Would this wheel offset work..?

Right well i been looking at some Volk alloys...

Ive been doing my homework on them, and ive come up with a possible solution...

Front:

17 - 7.0 - +49 offset - with either a 215 or a 225 tyre...

Wheel will be extended out 12mm and in 0mm

Rear:

18 - 8.0 - +50 offset - with either 245 or 255 tyre...

Wheel will be extended out 21mm and in 9 mm

Or...

18 - 9.0 - +50 offset - with either a 255 or 265 tyre...

Wheel will be extended out 34mm and in 4mm

Now from an offset cal i know of, these should fit fine...

But am i going to get strange handling characteristics...?? And also which rear wheel width seems best, first or second...??

Thanks

Nick

Yes, most probably it'll drive crap. I'd probably go for a wider rear & increase the stagger.

You can obtain Volks in a far better offset than that.

But if you are only interested in the optical characteristics, does it matter? Just drive slowly.

from what i've read you want to be running either

17x7.5 et50 on the front

17x9 et63 on the back

and on 18's

18x7.5 et50 on the front

18x8.5 et47 on the back

both of those setups should handle well and they won't rub either

I don't know why you would want bigger wheels on the backs to the fronts??

Well heres the link...

It has the sizes available on there...

Volks on perfect run...

I want both visual and performance...

Im not too sure what the rear wheel wells can handle...

What size tyres would you recommend then...??

Any help would be greatly appriciated, as i wouldnt wanna go fook anything up, as the car is about the handling...

And Nick said it'll probably be crap, so i was wondering what wouldnt be crap out of those sizes, and offsets on the link above...

These wheels tho >>> Volks on perfect run... <<< only come in a maximum of +50 offset...

So would it be best to get a different set of wheels...?? it would be a shame, but if i want better handling then so be it...
