Yesterday
Thursday was a lovely morning round here.
The frost seemed to descend hard after the morning broke, so that it looked pretty and the skies were expansively clear.
One gets some disbelieving looks driving a very black car through the frost with the roof down, by people in huge anoraks and scarves.
It would have been wasteful not to go out in such crisp, refreshing conditions.
The late frost made the roads quite black icy, which hightens the sense of alertness with cold S-02s. Even in traffic, one could provoke a little wiggle from an excessive prod of the throttle.
The car is great for the warm torso/cool head combination that is believed to be good for concentration.
By the time I reached my appointment, I must have looked like the puppet from the Metz advert.

Windstopper fleece and hat keeps all but my face toasty in this weather.
My only problem is keeping my legs warm when wearing my work trousers. Thought of getting a blanket, but that would be a bit too 'Honda driver' don't you think. Any suggestions ?

This stops the downdraft that seems to blow down the right leg and into the footwell. Also causes less backdraft on your kneck.
Downside is that the passenger gets blasted!
