Yet another problem...
It's been intermittent over the last week or so, but the alarm is now definitely going off for no reason.
Initially thought it was the winds we've had, and after a rather sleepless night I found out how to disable the ultrasonics, so thought I'd do that next time it did it.
Well it did it tonight...and disabling the ultrasonics didn't do squat...went off 10mins later.
So I disarmed it and locked it with the key (does that do the deadlocks as well? Only heard one click...). And 5 mins later it went off again!!! WTF?!? I could have sworn I'd disarmed it!!!
I've now read the alarm manual front-to-back and back-to-front and it gives you NO problem-solving tips at all...so I've come to the fount of all knowledge that is s2ki!!!
So...any suggestions?
Having done a search I realise that it could potentially be any of the following:-
- battery
- one or more of the door/boot/bonnet sensors acting up
- alarm motherboard
...of which I only know where one thing is (battery), and what to do with that (I'm going to check that colour-coded-thingy in the morning - is it the 5p-sized circle off to one side I need to look at?!?).
I really don't want to fork out a few hundred notes for a new alarm, not while I still don't know what's causing the rough idle. But I can't have it going off at random, esp. not at night...and by the time I've paid someone to look it over I almost might as well have got a different alarm fitted...

I'm having exactly the same problem. Mine goes off atleast once a day lately, normally late at night just to really annoy the neighbours.
Also, why do Honda insist on fitting alarms that can pierce the eardrums of a 90 year old 6 miles away lol.
I checked all the earths I could find that linked to the alarm system, all the sensors and all the ultra-sonics, and the only thing I found which was of use was a
