Default Was it you?

Just Curious, on the way into work today, at 12:05pm, there was a Black S2000 pulled in at the side of the road down Westborne Terrace, London, think I have seen it parked up there before as well, just wondered if it was anyone on here?

Approximately how many S2000's are there in the UK anyway?
I have only seen 3, and one of them was in Aylesbury Honda

Nope its wasn't me.........................but, for the first time ever (well, since Rockingham, s=and that doesn't count) I actually followed another S2000 for a little while - just before 8am in Croydon, clearly someone of immaculate taste - Silverstone/red on a V plate - any takers?????

I saw somewhere recently that there were around 680 brought in in the first year and about 340 in the second year. Can't remember where I saw it now... in a review I think.

Those numbers sound pretty familiar. I see more F355s than S2000s though!

So do I, someone across from the main entrance to the head office here, has 2 identical ones.. They are even the same colour and there is normally one parked up in the garage... and always either one outside the Met Hotel, the Hilton or the Intercontinental... they are common as muck
Well not quite, but London does have a few around.... still wouldn't say no to one... definitely would be one of my lottery win cars.

Honda UK made a big hoo haa about how they managed to secure 900 for the first year up from 500 originally,

I would guess the same for the year gone (Sept 99 to Sept 2000 & sept 2000 to sept 2001).

I would then only guess at maybe 10 to 20% parallel imports say 400 and a 10th again greys~40 to 50, todate I would say at least 2000 and as many as 3000.

If someone could be bothered we could get a snapshot poll of the 40 or 50 UK owners here? as the % UK, Euro and greys (Japan / Cyprus).

Dunno how many in Uk , but they do seem to be as rare as rocky horse dung .

That said there appears to about 5 or six in Chelmsford , 1 Black 2 Silver , 1 Red and 1 Blue , although it must be said that Osborne Garages did have a Blue demonsrater for a while !

I drove this with about 100 miles on the clock I can confirm that his car did not get run in properly
