Default Zen and the S

I've been an American lurking in your forum for the last few months. I would post this question in one of the US forums but I think you blokes (that is something you call yourselves correct?) have something up on us Yanks (that is something you call us correct?) when it comes to S2KI.com.

Definition of Zen - Something so different, no one could predict it
It transcends language and communication
And affects the most basic instincts and being
Allowing you to truly be yourself and be at one with all the universe

I have put several thousand miles on my MY 05 and think Honda was going for, and achieved, a Zen-like experience. My question is - will putting Mugen after-market parts on an S detract from the Zen quest? I'm considering manifold, exhaust, and high-flow filter. (I'll also get the new wheels if they look like the new one's for non-S Honda's on their Japanese site). Mugen seems to have approached their after-market modifications in a way the Maker would have approved of.

For whatever it's worth - my family is from either Scotland or Ireland - it's a major argument at every family event we have so I'll probably never know which with certainty. Blood has been shed.

That's a tricky one

For all that say the MY06 is not faithful to the original with it's traction control etc., they're quite happy to add induction kits, new exhausts etc., so who knows!!!!

Mugen is the way forward ....... apart from the exhaust, which is a little heavy and the front bumper which I don't like the look of.

Apart from that ....
