FS: Spoon Monoblock Calipers

These are still on the car but will be off by 15th Jan.

I noticed a big benefit in pedal feel with these, and being Monoblock rather than 2 piece, they don't flex due to heat. It's a proper 4 pot unlike the OEM caliper. It uses standards disc and pad sizes too so you don't need new discs and pads.

Condition wise they are nearly as new. I fitted them in July and have covered less than 100 miles. There's a bit of brake dust on the back of them now which will come off easily due to the finish of the caliper.

New they cost about £1400 delivered.

£900 delivered to uk. No offers.

Will they fit under stock 16" wheels?

WinFreak 12-31-2013 06:09 AM

They need a 20mm spacer iirc

MB 12-31-2013 02:56 PM

Thanks for confirming chaps - and bother! Not allowed to use spacers for sprinting and don't really want to change wheels as I've got 4 fresh R888s waiting to go on.

These should work well with the Spoon calipers

We're allowed 15mm (1 piece) with MSA / VTEC regs.

Buyer has gone quiet on me so these are still available.

Tim S 01-04-2014 02:51 PM

I hope you weren't waiting for me.

FWIW You're allowed 2.5cm (!!) spacers according to the Blue Book. I think I am as well but it's woolly. Suffice to say I don't want to. Feel free to tidy the thread.
