The TCT has been modified from a brand new Honda item, differant springs and a longer plunger in the middle. I think the design means that the tensioner relies less on oil pressure and more on the springs applying pressure.

It was $250 plus postage but to be honest thats not a bad price especially as TCT's aren't cheap in the UK. Also the guy in the states that used to refurb the tensioners wont ship to the UK. If you go to Ballades site they show the differences between their item and the Honda OEM part.

Thanks for that Mark, just been to their website on your suggestion and the price was on there all along DOH!, any way very good website with some great products on there, my credit card is starting to twitch

Ordered a baffled sump off of you over the christmas break. Looking forward to getting it fitted ready for a summer full of trackdays!

Same here MB the TCT was great value for a brand new OEM item modified. The same with the sump a brand new pan with baffle welded in. Good prices! Would love to get the manifold/header as well but worried it would rub the steering rack.
