Yea im going for sure! It was a blast last year. Me and my friend got all of our money back for the race, and got an offer to either take the money or get 4 tickets for the price of two. We decided to take the money. We should start an offical thread and list of people that want to attend, and where to stay. Last year we showed up for the qualifications and sat morning practice, with no place to stay. We got lucky and scored a room at Motel 8 for $176 a night!!!! Mos def will be making reservations this year.

Because of one race? Have you been to an F1 race in person? And no me and Lee were there and we havent forgotten, we do remember the awesome time we had though.

Why would one would go to another F1 race, but refuse to go to the USGP, based on last year's USGP? The people who are hurt by people not attending the USGP are not the people who had any role in the problems last year.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway, which sells the tickets to the USGP, had nothing to do with how the race was or was not conducted last year. It was powerless to do anything. The FIA and the Formula One operation take over the facility.

If you enjoy F1 racing and want to see it in person, why on earth would one avoid the only F1 race held in the USA? And, by not attending the USA event, it makes it more likely F1 will not have a USA presence in the future.

After attending the 2005 event, my die-hard racing friends and I have written off the USGP in much the same way it wrote us off last year.
Hey, the Porsche Cup, Formula BMW & even the Infinity races were good but the FIAsco that occurred after that certainly illustrates it was more of a political convention to the powers-that-be....so you vote with your money and seek out REAL racing wherever it occurs.

The good news is that for you guys going back there should be noticably shorter beer lines,
Brian

7 months away...I'm probably in, but ask me again in 4 months.

Yes, FIA messed up last year. But they got a lot of bad press and made an attempt at making things right, so we'll see how it goes this year.
