4.56 or not?

I don't think the 4.56's are worth it. If you want to go for a shorter final drive and really make a statement go with the 4.77's. I've driven Pinyo's car and it made a world of difference.
The other benefit is that 4.77's are less than 50% the cost of 4.56's.

I'd actually disagree. For daily driving, the 4.77's offer more of a "punch" from a standstill and the beginning of each gear change. It's feels like an "amplified" 2004 2.2L s2000.
The 4.56 just don't offer enough differentiation for daily driving. I'd argue that the 4.56's shine on a roadcourse though. They offer up better acceleration than stock 4.83, without sacrificing too much the top end (in case you ever see fit to go 138+ mph).
The 4.77's give up much more top end, however, for me and 90% of the S2000 drivers, we mostly won't see the other side of 127 mph. If I ever get the car going that fast ever again, I'll just explain to my passenger and the cop that pulls me over that I was limited to 127mph because of the ECU.
For daily driving, give me acceleration down low...
