Oh! ...and why am I an "enthusiast" and not an owner? I own a silver / black. It's sitting in my garage!

Personally, I would never use ANY polish on a new car. Only a carnuba wax or a polymer coating. I just waxed mine for the first time yesterday with Meguires Liquid Gold and it seemed to work just fine. Others here swear by Zaino's. I never heard of it until I joined this group, but they swear by it. As for the Plexus, I got two cans from www.properautocare.com. I love how it cleaned and cleared my plastic backlight. The other products, I can't help you with just try to do a search for them. Or they may be on the site I gave you.

Hey-

There is a place you can check out-

Moto Persona in Lombard, IL- (630)627-MOTO.

They carry Zymol, 3M, and many other products good for cleaning and caring for your car.

Ask for Rob Fox- he'll get you going in the right direction.

If you want to be an "owner", go into your profile (my S2000) and enter your car's VIN and there you go!

Thanks a cool mill, folks. Actually tooling around this site I can find many alternatives. Lombard is a bit of a trip for me, but I will keep it in mind if I happen to be in that direction. I truly appreciate the advice.

For those that have just arrived at s2ki.com and want to know about washing and polishing the s2k, see the Forum "Special Interest > Wash & Wax." It talks about Zaino's & Meguiars products. Very interesting.
