Another Tint Deal
So I know there is a tint deal at Trendz going on. This is another thread for another guy that I've been using and is known very well in the Lexus community. I can point you to another thread with a bunch more pics if you PM me.
I'm not trying to "compete" or anything, but seeing as people are into saving money, thought I'd share the info with the UMW.
I actually got my last S tinted at trendz and they did a great job the last time around.
My new tint guy works out of a shop in Logan Square.
For the S specifically he will do all 3 windows for $80 flat.
He has all tint percentages. I personally went with 20% all around on my new S. I did 35 and 20 the last time around and just wanted the sides to be a tad more darker. He uses Johnson films and does incredible work.
Just as a point of reference for you guys tinting other cars, he tinted my IS350 with 5 windows for $120. Again it was with 20% tint. His going rate for most sedans is probably about $140, not too sure about SUV's but I wouldn't think too different. He's a great guy and willing to deal.
If you are interested, just PM me and I will PM you his number. I don't want to post it up because it is his personal/business cell phone. His shop is located right around Fullerton and Milwaukee. No appointments necessary, but probably smart to call ahead to see if he's busy. He works M-Sat from about 9-5 or 6. For my S he finished in 45 minutes. But he said the next time around it should only take him about 30. He knows that there are S2000's interested in getting tint, so the set price is $80 for all 3 windows. Not sure about just two, but I'm sure he'd give a GREAT price on just two. He finished those windows in like 10 minutes. I'll post up some pics of my S tomorrow.
The shop is called Logan Sqaure Car Wash, and he tints on the other half of the car wash.

Also there is no need to say my name or anything, but for the best deal just tell him you're from the S2000 Club. Especially for the $80 deal.
Other cars, I'm sure he'll give you a great price nonetheless.

The one thing I would say is that i dont think I would be happy in getting my car tinted in less that 10mins. I mean I would expect someone to take their time. Not saying your guy isnt good....just saying.
Like I said - great deal! Definately a hit if you are on a lower budget.
Post up those pics!

So looks like the UMW has a couple of good tint options this year.
I had my last S tinted at Trendz and they do good work. I had this S tinted by Ceasar in Logan square. So you can't really go wrong with either, but it will be personal choice.
I should also add that if you are unhappy for whatever reason, Ceasar does guarantee his work. As I believe trendz does as well.
I'm going to post up some pics in a bit.
