Just do it. You will not be disappointed. I had 4.56 gears in mine (only say "had" because I sold my car, I would not have gotten rid of them for as long as I kept it).

There are a few people in the UMW with gears, but you'll have better luck bumping this thread come springtime. I think most cars are stored, at the very least you will most likely spin once you hit VTEC in the cold weather.

I loved the difference they made on my car.

Mine's not stored (got 4.56's) but I'll be busy this week. Shoot me a PM this weekend if you're near Chicago, and I'll see what I can do

Car is on jack stands (and probably will be for 2 more weeks). I need to get some stuff done after that, so the car will be at Suja1 for a bit.

I'm in Algonquin, so that when the car is ready to go, I'm nearby.

Most people say 4.56 is the way to go. 4.77's are pretty much an entire gear down from stock. What I mean by that is next time you're on teh highway in 6th, shift to 5th and that is roughly the equivalent of the 4.77 gearset.

The 4.56 splits the difference nicely. On top of that, it is regarded as a stronger gear due to tooth profile.

Having said that, you will find plenty of happy customers with both.
