Default anyone ordered from evasive?

i ordered a j's shift knob from them 2 weeks ago and was told that it would ship the following week. now they're telling me the shipment needs to clear customs so it might not arrive until april?! i'm getting pretty annoyed and thinking about just cancelling my order and going with a different knob. anyone have any experience with evasive before?

I would never talk trash about a vendor in any of the more public forums.

But, since this is the UMW, Yeah, Evasive sucks.

I've never ordered from them. But if you can find the same product somewhere else, I'd go for it.

I've been waiting six months for some items. None from Evasive, but it does suck to wait.

I too have ordered parts from Evasive, and whilst they did deliver in a quick and efficient manner - I had issues with them jacking the shipping rate on me (doubling it) whilst it was in transit.

If you arent happy go elsewhere - you can buy Js from AJ Racing

I ordered new rotors from Evasive and had no problems at all.

I have had nothing but good experiences with Evasive. Mike has always taken great care of me. I have bought two sets of wheels and 3 or 4 small items.

On the other hand, I have been less than impressed with AJR. The last 2 potential transactions that those guys were checking availablitly and price, with just a simple phone call. It took them 2-3 weeks each time to get back to me when it should have taken ten minutes. Even after they got back to me they tried to pawn it off as not knowing they were supposed to get the info. So, I had to call and remind them a few times about checking and with discussing specs, which it ended up costing me $35 for the phone calls to Canada. They are good guys, but I have spent a decent amount of money over the years with them and don't think that I will be spending any more in the immediate future.
