Default Back to S2000

Its been 5 years or so, since I had an S2000. Bottom line after going through many more cars, for whatever reason the S2000 is still...

NOTE OF INTEREST:
I looked around the entire USA inventory and found a very interesting fact. People list their S2000s on autotrader and cars for high prices, and never respond to questions or phone calls. Not talking about a few people. I have a list of 17 cars that seem to be on there for the sole purpose of inflating the prices, including dealers.

So after spending the better half of a year with the S240 FRS project, I still don't like it as much as the stock S2000. No one cares obviously but looking forward to making season two of projects more S2000 focused.

Pictures S2000:

Of course had wrong filter, wrong fluids etc, trans felt like shit etc.

Pile of Junk Supercharged FRS (Harry thanks for help!!)

All the Youtube Tech Series Videos on the Project

Plenty of crap in there to either excite you or put you to sleep.
Anyway good day.

I still have it, car is good. It's better supercharged, has the balls it needs but still is like the S2000 even with the extra power it's still not enough for certain tracks. Even with great brakes oil cooler, SC, real suspension car lacks the fun of the S2000. Now of course there are other factors, FRS is much more practical, comfortable, easy to drive, better more consistent gear box, MPG etc.

Oh and all cars are junk!!

Yes, it feels like an evolution of the S2000 Aisin gearbox with slightly longer throws. The shift feel is more solid, positive and most importantly smooth through most temp ranges. Below 35 degrees second gear will get slightly notchy but smooths out within 5 minutes. Above 35 it is always smooth.
