Default borrowing your coil packs?

Hey guys I've been having issues with the S and have narrowed it down to being the coils. I plan on buying evan's tunings kit once it comes out this month but want to make sure my issues is the coils and nothing more. In order for me to do that I need new coils. I don't want to spend $80 a coil just to get evan's kit in a few weeks. Does any one mind me throwing the coils in and starting the car up to see if it idles better? That's all that is needed.

I have a set of four sitting in the basement you can use to test....you'll have to test here though.

Thanks luder. I'll let you know. I think I'm going to pick up some 05 rsx type s coils as inline said they are much better then the S's and that is what they're using on their drag car.

Thanks to those who offered to help. I ended up throwing the rsx coils in. The car is alive again and it idles better then it did stock.

Yes....RSX-S coil packs work. I'm of the opinion that the type S coil packs are more durable than what came with the F20c motors.

I contantly ran my K20a swapped Integra to 8500+ and they never failed. I think on my S2000, I'm on my 5th set of coilpacks....and I rarely drive my car, much less beat on it like I did the Integra.
