OK folks, from the other thread, we decided on August the 21st for a drive through Brown County.

Please post if you are interested in joining the drive.

We will meet at the Columbus rest area (about mile marker 74) on I-65 south at 10:30AM. The drive will start at 11AM. Bring your Talkabout radios and set them for channel 7, code 1.

Here is the new map. Double click on the map twice to get a larger image. Copies of the map will be available at the start.


Everyone is expected to have a valid driver's license and insurance. You will be required to sign a waiver, as well.

I would prefer to be towards the back of the group but if you need a leader, I would not mind at all.

I thought there was a part of the directions that was wrong last year.....like a left turn where it said right turn or something.

 

Mitch, I'm not surprised that I missed one turn, I had so many to correct at the last minute.

I will redo the maps completely and and once that is completed, my mapping program will produce the driving instructions. I will most assuredly check them, but they will be correct this year.

Once we have a final route planned, I will redo the map.

The insurance paperwork was faxed in to the insurance company today, not much left to do to get ready.

Mitch, were you going to join us this year?
