I do not know if its still there, but there was one in a strip mall located west of woodfield mall. I think it was past roselle. It was in the same mall as the melting pot I believe. It was a cafe/bubble tea place. I dunno if its still there though, went there a few years ago, was pretty good from what I recall
I've yet to find a place around here too. I have them everytime I goto LA and as a matter of fact, just had some awesome mango slush boba in Irvine this past weekend. This is what I found for local searches:

IBM, if you look for "another level"s address you can just go there and look for a korean cafe just 2-3 doors next to it

IF, however you want to get the best boba tea/bubble tea in chicago. You have to go to any of Joyee's noodle shops. The closest to you would be in Evanston, I believe it is off of Chicago Ave, It is across the street from Giordano's in downtown evanston. The other location is in Chinatown right off of Cermak road, in the plaza. There are supposed to be other locations in Naperville and by UIC, but I haven't been there so i don't know of their whereabouts. The evanston one is great though. There is another place called liquid fusion that is on milwaukee ave. and sanders rd, in a small strip mall. Its ok, but for the best you must go to Joyee's. Good cheap food too btw.
