Ahh, got it Brad.

Achilles381, we will be taking the toll-road. There is one toll on the way out there, and probably two on the way home depending on where you get off of the toll road.

It's not. 72 was under construction the last time I went that way.

Then it bottlenecks in Dundee, and then traffic around the mall, etc.

It is a PITA to try to keep a group together with all those stoplights and traffic. I90 is better.

One of the best (fun) ways to my house is to take Stearns (Route 29) West until it ends in Bartlett/St. Charles area. Make a right turn onto Dunham (going northbound). You hit a light, and after the light, going straight, the road tunrs into Route 25. Route 25 goes to Route 20. Take Route 20 west to Randall Rd. Take the Randall Rd. exit and make left onto Randall Rd.

The Stearns and Dunham roads are quite high speed roads that are nicely paved, failry straight, and usually not highly patrolled.

Just a thought.

There is a gravel pit between Rt. 59 and Dunham off of Stearns. There are LOTS of big dump trucks there now and lots of gravel and loose dirt on the road there.

yeah thats the area i'll be using, except i cut through the forest preserve on Powis.

i was a bit concerned about traffic in Dundee, I guess saturday around 11:00 the malls and streets will be backed, probably better to stay away.

i'll skip the caravan and see everyone there.
