SIU alumni here You should go drive the roads in Giant City state park, and the area around it. Good hills and some fun long straights in the middle of nowhere.

 

I'd love to have my car down in Carbondale! I'm another SIU alum (check the user name)

I don't know if I'd like to sit in my car for the trip down 57, but it would probably be worth it to drive down to the spillway, and some of those back roads off giant city road.

 

Yea the ride was rather long, im back in ottawa now, but i did cruise through giant city back roads and it was a blast, then went out another town and meet up with some locals, they took me to what they call there mountain road, it was pretty sweet, reminded me of rt 71 here in ottawa. Good experiance, but no more s2s unfortunatly
