Well, I'll finally be able to properly test drive the CR this weekend.

Saturday - Chicago Region SCCA, Joliet, IL
Sunday - Tri-State Sports Car Council, Joliet, IL or Salt Creek Sports Car Club, Maywood, IL

Not sure which one(s) I'll be doing, but if it stays dry, I will definitely do at least 1 this weekend, if not both. Giving rides too.

Looks like the motorsport season will only last the next few weekends until the S gets stored.

I'm probably going to SCSCC as well. The only thing that can stop me is if I go to Chicago Region on Saturday and it's an awesome course that they run backwards for TSSCC on Sunday.

 

WCMC had a wicked course this past weekend - felt really fast (as opposed to the usual tight Miata-biased usual) and included 2 figure-8s and a single cone "loop" that you had to encircle before tripping the lights at the end of the course. I've _never_ gotten my s2k tires this hot before - they're all bubbled like my racebike tires get at a track day.

 

Dammit. Wish I could have gone .

I'd like to do at least one this weekend, too. Kinda bummed I missed out on the WCMC this past weekend, but I also was out of town. Let me know which one you decide to do, and I'll definitely join in.

 

i'd do it if my diff wasn't about to blow. i have to drive it like a granny. ill just wait until next year when i get my diff reinforced by puddymod.

 

I just realized I can't do the one on Saturday due to a prior engagement. However, if you still chose to do one on Sunday Pat, let me know which one and I'm there.

 

Can't make any this weekend - kids are going to stay with my parents while the wife and I "get sore" celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary...by installing laminate over about 1/3 of the first floor of our house.

Is there a Thursday meet this week? If not, maybe I can p/u from you at WCMC on the 18th?
