Chicago Rules!!!!
This past weekend, my girlfriend surprised me(early birthday present) with a trip to Chicago and tickets to this past Saturday and Sunday's games at Wrigley Field(oh yeah, she's a keeper). First of all, what a beautiful ballpark!!!! So much history! Secondly, Cubs won both games. We met so many friendly people at the bars around the Stadium and at the games as well. Just wanted to say that your town Rules!!!! We also stayed at the W downtown on Adams. What a beautiful Hotel. Suffice to say we got back to LA at 1:00 AM last night and I am exhausted at work today. What can you do? What a great time and a great city!!!!!!!!
That's why we live here!!
I was at W (down in the Living Room) Sat night for about an hour.
Yep - there is lots to do in this town and I find that when I visit other cities that I miss something about Chicago.
Oh, by the way, the Stadium is the old building that used to stand on Madison across from the new United Center. Wrigley is Wrigley - a true national landmark. I hope you got to sit in the bleachers - the only way to go to a Cubs game.
Glad you enjoyed Chicago - come back soon!
