Default Chicago wes burbs

Hi All,
New to forum and my first S2000- 2006, blue, 20000 miles.
Just getting my feet wet and looking for suggestions in the west burbs to get spring service.
Like my local dealer, but have people found a dealer good for maintenance?
Love the drive and feel of my new toy- may want a new exhaust(just for the sound) any helpful hints appreciated.
Dave

Lots of good independents in the area for service. There's nothing exceptionally special about the service required. What burbs are you in?

I find a dependable place-Thanks.

No, I've just been reading how people are putting in wrong or poor oil for the RPMs it turns and that some
dealers have been Known to put the wrong differential fluid as if it was for a CRV and owners having issues.

I'm sure I'll figure it out, was hoping for a few places out near Bolingbrook, Naperville, or Plainfield area where owners have had good or knowledgeable service.

Thanks!!

I've got 18 years, 3 months, 2 weeks and 2 days of S2000 ownership under my belt. I do my own fluid changes. It is so simple that you can learn how to do it in just the half hour it takes to get it all done.
FWIW, I use
Coolant = Honda Type 2
Motor Oil = Castrol EDGE Extended Performance 10W-30 Full Synthetic
Transmission Fluid = Honda MTF (new formula)
Differential Gear Lube = Mobil 1 102490 75W-140 Synthetic Gear Lube
Brake Fluid = Castrol SRF (probably $$$$ overkill but I had brake fade once going into Turn 5 at Road America on a lesser fluid)

For all other needs beyond my skill set, I use RCN Motors. RT, owner, and Justin (aka, Yanni) have never turned anything but good wrench on my car over the years.

Second for RCN Motorsports. Those guys know their way around an S2000 without charging an arm or a leg for it.

Plenty of good suggestions in here, so why not one more.

See my thread located in the UMW classifieds. I do a lot of S2000 maintenance and upgrades from all over the Midwest.
